Smallville HA walk through

Hey heroes,

Here's another entry in the Hard Alert (HA) realm. This is the Smallville walk-through and it is a Medium HA. It is suggested you have some T1 gear (look at my original forum entry). As always, you can repair armor, buy cola or sell items but this time it is a vendor. A woman with the ($) above her head.

I will get right into the alert. The first objective is to protect 3 individual Lex Luther teleporters. Before activating an of the teleporters, you should defeat any Doomsday clones. Once the area is clear, destroy the four control panels surrounding the teleporter. After the teleporter is active, you will need to defeat any doomsday clones from destroyinfg the teleporter. First and for most, you must focus on the large clones. They walk slowly and you are aware of their pressence by them screaming. Tanks and DPS should take them out as fastly as possible and other member attack and perform your roles. Occaisionally, 2 smaller Doomsday clones will jump in to disrupt. Just focus on the large clones while taking out the smaller ones to protect the teleporter. You will need to do this for each of the 3 teleporters.

After the 3 positions are done, a boss (a larger Doomsday clone) will spawn. The group will need to take him out, while performing their roles. Once the boss is around 50% health, smaller clones will spawn and be sure to take them out. The boss has a tornado stunning attack, so keep you eyes peeled.

The next area is rather complicated. First, travel as a group. Once you get to the middle of the little town, someone will need to activate the objective. This can be done by moving to the center of the area where there is a console and needs to be activated by holding (E). This will start the second objective. There are 5 large Doomsday clones that will need to be subdoed and moved to the center of the area where the console was activated. There are 5 spots for each clone. For each large clone, subdoe them and someone will need to pick them up using the (E) key. That member will have to walk slowly and, on the first try, will not reach the middle before the timer runs out. The other members will need to protect the individual carrying the clone. When the timer runs out, you will need to subdoe the clone again and protect the individual carrying until they reach on of the capsules. After all 5 clones are captured, the next boss will spawn who is larger Doomsday clone (female). Now, it should be the role of the Tank to PULL the boss away from the center area where the other clones were captured. If this is not done, then the boss will release the captured clones making the fight much more difficult. In either case, you will need to defeat the boss along with any released clones.

After the boss has been defeated, a new objective will be begin. The entire group will need to travel further across the map (indicated by the arrow) and head toward a scientist. This is next step is necessary for each member of the group. Each member must talk to the scientist (holding (E) key). This will turn each member into a scientist. After this has been completed, each member needs to transform into a original Doomsday clone themselves. There are 4 Xs on the map that each member needs to go to in order to transform. After you have transformed, you will need to complete 3 objectives. First, a total of 4 Luther stations need to be destroyed. They are large purple structures surrounded by glowing yellow auras. Secondly, you must defeat 80(?) scientist walking around which is only one swipe attack. Finally, you must defeat 30(?) converted citizens clones and then restore them using (E). All of these objectives can be done by all members in any order.

After the previous objectives are completed, another boss fight is next. Group up and head to the X on the map where Dr. Richards is located. You may get randomly attacked by other clones so take them out. Once you talk to Richards, him and his 2 colleagues will morph in Doomsday freaks (haha). The group should focus on the Alpha and Beta scientists, first. Then you should concentrate on Dr. Richards. The Alpha and Beta do not have special attacks unlike Richards. Be sure to use your newly acquired powers, like power kick(1) and spike attack(2). Once Richards is defeated, everyone will transform back to themselves.

Now its time for the official Doomsday fight..wooo! Everyone head to the Kent barn in the background. There are 8 clones waiting there (4 outside, 4 inside). Defeat them and then we can start to activate the final boss. After the clones are defeated at the barn, you can destroy the 4 consoles surrounding Doomsday inside the barn by using the (E) key and I have noticed the icon does not always appear overhead. The JLA will arrive and Doomsday will be on the loose. The JLA will attack Doomsday and then a canister in the back of the barn will need to be moved out of the barn. This canister is the most important part of this boss fight. There are 3 locations the canister will need to moved to, in order to weaken Doomsday temporarily (about 2 min a piece). Before moving the canister, you need to interact ( (E) key)with 4 cubes outside of the locations, which are pretty obvious and surrounded by red auras. Interacting with the cubes with drop the force fields around the locations and then you can move the canister. Doomsday will go after ANYONE holding the canister. One trick is to take turns throwing the canister to the nearest location. Once the canister is moved to the location, Doomsday will temporarily be weakened (about 2 min) and everyone should do as much damage as possible. If any JLA member gets knocked out, try to revive them. You will need to repeat the process until Doomsday is defeated.
